A purity test is intended to measure the percentage of purity,
or non-exposure of a certain component including gases, to a certain
field. There are hundreds of different purity tests on nearly every
possible subject imaginable.
The only goal of any purity test is to give the right percentage of
quality of the subject or object. Gases undergo purity test so that
quality assurance principles can be applied to the design, construction,
operation and abandonment of any air separation plant. Quality assurance
is the process whereby the customers, producers or any other interested
parties are satisfied that standards are consistently met.
