Molecular Sieve Battery

Molecular sieve battery is a two vessel battery filled with a molecular sieve. This battery absorbs Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and moisture from the processed air. Molecular sieve battery also removes acetylene and other hydrocarbons from the processed air. This property of molecular sieve battery eradicates the need for installing independent acetylene absorber unit. Furthermore, it facilitates the annihilation recurring costs of caustic soda (NaOH).


Features of Molecular Sieve Battery


Molecular sieve battery is comprised of regenerating electric heater, temperature sensors, and control panel equipped with temperature controller. Molecular sieve of 1.5/3 mm type 13-X is filled in each and every vessel of the molecular sieve battery. This is regenerative type capacity 400m3/hr to 2000 m3/hr and 12 hour regeneration cycle.
