Today many processes have a requirement for a high quality
feedstock, in some cases to chemically react with other feedstocks to
form new products, in other cases to provide a reducing atmosphere to
prevent oxidation. These needs are basically driven by refineries and
manufacturing industries worldwide that aim to reduce both sulphur and
aromatics in their products. As an answer to this concern and the
reserch that followed, various gases and gas plants acquired an
important place for themselves.
Gas Plants can be used in diverse applications covering a number of
industries. They are commonly used to replace air or nitrogen, creating
an inert atmosphere conducive to manufacturing a products; to remove
dissolved hydrogen and particulates from the molten metal; metal
fabrication, which consists of creating a gas shield during welding,
etc.
